Armageddon
What is good and bad? I believe that there are no poor choices; only good ones. Nothing is black and white. Everything and everyone are shades of grey with varying tones and saturations. That's the figurative meaning of "Every cloud has a silver lining " or "There's two sides to every coin". Besides, what is labelled good or bad is only the collective opinion of the majority in any society for some order to be established. This constant battle between right and wrong, good and evil, virtue and vice takes a huge toll on the human mind. What we need to realize is just go with the flow, most of the time your intuition will be right but you have to differentiate between the subtle voice suggesting the gut feeling and the mind playing games with you which is another topic of discussion in its entirety.
I'll get to the crux of the issue. No matter what conclusion we come to, no matter how many calculated risks we take, things can work out in our favour or not. The only asset we need at the time we face the music, is the presence of mind to know that the pick we took was based on the information we had before the consequences hit us. Whether you label it a "good" or "bad" option, just know that you worked with what you had and whatever the aftermath is, it's just how it's supposed to be. Even if the outcomes are not favourable at the time, it will influence our next decision making process and help us make better choices the next time. It helps us be wary of the things we were blind to in the previous case. Still, however much we calculate and deduce, some variables are beyond our control and the end result could be disastrous when it hits us. All we can do to find the calm in the storm is find solace in the fact that everything just is exactly how it's supposed to be. In due course, the dark clouds will part to reveal the sun.
